The Hype is a very early stage startup that is building an authentic experience network that will provide a simple, elegant and transparent solution to the overwhelming amount of noise within the social web and news cycle. We are interested in leveraging crowd curation, machine learning and the feedback graph to bring signal to the noise.

We are currently in a closed alpha looking for a member who will complete the founding team and help bring the vision of the company to the next level. This person will be experienced as a developer with extensive proven application in both mobile, specifically iOS, and web, specifically open source.

The candidate will also be extremely passionate about the evolution of mobile computing and crowd curation. This candidate realizes the desire to create something of lasting value must be grounded in a self-discipline to build products of simplicity and utility.
